Still cannot believe but they arrived, finally! You might be wondering what is so interesting about these books but these book have a whole story behind and I am going to tell you. I remember talking with Ilias about Garr Reynolds’ Presentation Zen blog almost 4 months ago when we decided to get us his current book along with “The Art of the Start” and “Rules for Revolutionaries” written by Guy Kawasaki and some others. We put the order on Amazon US as books are way cheaper in the States ( Presentation Zen $19.79 and EUR 22,95 = $31.6 ) and started waiting. The first bunch of books would arrive few days later but that ones mentioned above would be delayed and arrive in a second delivery.. which got lost! With no books five weeks later we requested Amazon to re-send them. Henrique, who originally ordered them, in meantime moved to Brussels and I was on the road up to Norway. Another couple of weeks later they arrived in Germany, at the customs to be precise. They got stuck there and Henrique would need to go there from Brussels to pick them up. On 10 September he would have the books in his hands, at least for some half an hour.. until he and Mehman forgot them on the train.. I think you can imagine these guys running for a taxi to catch the train on the next station .. and the books, again.
Since Henrique would need to leave Germany directly he left the books with Ilias who kindly sent them to me few days later, so when I came home I found a photocopy of the parcel stating i should pick it up at the post. There is a small post shop inside the Bunnpris store down here where the guys usually leave the packages, someone messed up again so it ended up in Moholt, but thats ok.. I GOT THEM! Just right in time after finishing Steve Jobs: iCon !
